Program Description
St. Gregory Credit Union SMS Support is an optional, one-to-one text-messaging service for member-requested support. Messages may include responses to questions, support-request updates, appointment coordination, and general service information. The service is not used for mass marketing or promotional campaigns.

SMS messages for this program are sent from and received at (773) 561-5493.
Consent and Enrollment
You must affirmatively opt in before St. Gregory Credit Union sends its first SMS. You may enroll through one of the following methods:
- Text-message keyword: Review the disclosure on our SMS Support page, then text START to (773) 561-5493. Your incoming START message, telephone number, date, and time serve as the consent record. We do not send an SMS response before receiving START.
- Telephone or in-person verbal consent: A St. Gregory Credit Union employee reads the complete consent disclosure, confirms the mobile number, and asks whether you agree to receive one-to-one SMS support. You must affirmatively answer yes. The employee documents the consent before sending the first SMS.
We do not currently use a website form or paper form to enroll people in SMS Support. Merely providing a telephone number, or sending a message that does not include START, is not treated as SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of obtaining any product or service.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on your request and the resulting support conversation. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opting Out
You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we may send one confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, no further SMS messages will be sent unless you enroll again through one of the opt-in methods above.

Privacy and Sensitive Information
Text messaging is not a secure channel for confidential financial information. Do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, PINs, passwords, security codes, payment instructions, or other sensitive information by text. If private account information must be discussed, we may direct you to a more secure communication channel.
Our collection and use of information related to this service are described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and text-message originator opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Delivery and Carrier Availability
Delivery of text messages is subject to the availability and operation of wireless networks and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The service may not be available through every carrier or device.
Service Limitations
SMS should not be used for urgent matters, payment instructions, transaction authorizations, account-access requests, one-time passcodes, or reports of suspected fraud. For urgent or account-specific assistance, contact St. Gregory Credit Union through an established telephone or secure service channel.
Changes or Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS service or these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
