SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
St. Gregory Credit Union offers optional, one-to-one SMS support and does not use this service for mass marketing or promotional campaigns. Before we send the first SMS, you must either (1) review our public SMS disclosure and text START to (773) 561-5493, or (2) affirmatively agree to receive SMS support after an employee reads the complete consent disclosure during a telephone or in-person conversation. Verbal consent is documented before any SMS is sent. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of obtaining any product or service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers solely as necessary to operate and deliver the messaging service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Those service providers are not authorized to use SMS information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies according to the support requested. Message and data rates may apply.
Text messaging is not a secure channel for confidential financial information. Do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, PINs, passwords, security codes, payment instructions, or other sensitive information by text.

Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that support our operations; when required or permitted by law; to protect the rights, security, and property of the credit union, our members, or others; or with your direction or consent. Nothing in this section permits text-message originator opt-in data or consent to be shared for third-party or affiliate marketing or promotional purposes.
Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, electronic communication, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We retain information, including SMS consent and opt-out records, only as long as reasonably necessary for operational, legal, regulatory, security, and recordkeeping purposes.
